Move to ban same sex marriage in Romania


The Romanian Judicial Senate unanimously passed an amendment to the countries marriage bill to explicitly define a marriage as being between a man and a woman. The amendment will need to full Senate support to become law, and that is looking likely.

Romania doesn’t have a great track record in gay rights, only repealing a law banning the “manifestations of homosexuality”  in 2001. Pink News
