Objection to gay adoption
A whole bunch of people in South Yorkshire (2000) have signed a petition objecting to the placement of children with gay adoptive parents. Their argument: parent should be allowed to prevent their children being placed with gays if they were suddenly orphaned. The gay voices are saying that this is not about gay rights but rather about what is best for the child. BBC News
