A court heard today how BBC Radio 4 presenter, Nigel Wrench, allegedly drugged and raped a man he met in Vauxhall at a New Years party.
Wrench is accused of rape, sexual assault, and administering Temazepam with the intention of “stupefying or overpowering” his alleged victim to have sex, on January 1 last year.
Wrench has written and broadcast on the subject of AIDS treatment around the world since he announced publicly in 1994 that he was HIV-positive. The trial continues.
