It’s good to be a policeman cop in Scotland
Lothian and Border’s Police were rated the most gay friendly employer in Scotland in the Stonewall annual Workplace Equality Index. The Greater London Authority came second in the National ranking. The top employer is Nacro, the crime reduction charity.
London Mayor Ken Livingstone says: ‘I’m proud that the GLA is now rated amongst the most gay-friendly organisations in the country. I’d urge public and private sector employers alike to participate in Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index and use it to develop best practice in their own organisations.’
