Anglicans still threatened with split over gay rights - Archbishop says no no no
The Archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Anglican church, has refused to support attempts my conservative elements within the church to undermine US Episcopal Church for its support for gay rights.
He has criticised the more conservative components of the church in Africa and elsewhere who have consecrated their own bishops and threatened to separate from the US church. The Guardian
